Krewe du Vieux

Accompanied by many of the top brass bands in the city, each of 17 sub-krewes, the majority utilizing mule-drawn floats, will offer a unique take on the theme "The Quest for Immorality"—a play on the title of a major exhibit at the New Orleans Museum of Art: “The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt.” For a list of sub-krewes and their themes, click here.
