2004 Lundi Gras Performance Schedule - Spanish Plaza

Riverwalk Marketplace hosts its 18th annual Lundi Gras celebration at Spanish Plaza, near the foot of Poydras St. At 6 p.m., the Monarch of Merriment, His Majesty Rex, arrives by Coast Guard cutter and takes symbolic control of the city for Mardi Gras—a ritual that culminates with a fireworks display over the river. Free admission.
